“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough.” – Rabindranath Tagore I love butterflies and moths.  The intricate patterns that they have evolved to have and the delicate way they flutter about intrigues me.  Given that where I live can get quite harsh weather it is always a delight to see them in my garden (now I have one) and if there is a butterfly house in the vicinity it’s guaranteed a visit.  I just wish I was better at identifying them! The Galápagos Islands islands are just amazing, the plants, the animals and the people.  The human inhabitants are protesting against recent law changes pushed through by the Ecuadorian President which they believe will have serious deleterious effects on the unique habitat(s) of the archipelago: Sign the petition to help this community and the unique and important environment they live in, To further support the protection of the archipelago please consider donating to the Charles Darwin Foundation or Galapagos Conservation Trust.
